Patient Referrals:

We welcome self referrals. However, the need for physician referrals is dependent on your payer and the complexity of your child's issues,

Most insurances do not require referrals but check with your Insurance for details.

  • If referrals are not required, call us to schedule (see Scheduling) If your child has a chronic condition, we may ask you to request information from your Primary Care Physician (PCP).
  • If referrals are required, ask your PCP to obtain the referral authorization and fax to our office; upon receipt, we will call you for an appointment (see Scheduling).
  • Be aware that your payer's requirement for a referral will delay the time to your new patient appointment but is required to ensure your payer will pay for your appointment.
  • SoonerCare requires referrals from your PCP. Most Indian Nations require a purchase order "PO" to be obtained by your PCP and sent to our office. Once we receive the PO, we will call you to arrange an appointment.
